Academic Strengths and Specializations

Accommodation at IIUM is provided through 16 Mahallahs (Arabic for &lsquo;neighborhood&rsquo;)
which house approximately 14,000 students. Each Mahallah is managed by a Principal
and supported by administrative staff. The Mahallahs offer various room types
to cater to the diverse needs of IIUM&rsquo;s international student body.

Accommodation at IIUM

<h3>- Gombak Campus:</h3>
The main campus, located in Gombak, Selangor, spans 288 hectares and houses several faculties
including Islamic Revealed Knowledge &amp; Human Sciences and Engineering.
<h3>- Kuantan Campus:</h3>
Covering 400 hectares, this campus focuses on Science, Medical &amp; Health fields
and includes the Kulliyyah of Medicine and Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences.
<h3>- Kuala Lumpur Campuses:</h3>
The Kuala Lumpur campuses include the International Institute of Islamic Thought
and Civilization (ISTAC) in Persiaran Duta and the IIUM Institute for Islamic Banking and Finance in Damansara Heights.
<h3>- Petaling Jaya and Gambang Campuses:</h3>
These centers are dedicated to Foundation Studies, preparing students for their higher education journey.
