The academic year at the University of Craiova is divided into two semesters:

For admission, foreign students must demonstrate fluency in Romanian or enroll in a preparatory academic year to learn the language.
Alternatively, students can choose programs offered in French or English and must pass a fluency test in the relevant language.

Academic Calendar and Admission Requirements

The University of Craiova provides modern and comfortable accommodation options for its students. The university campus includes:

Spread across four main campuses, including the Faculty of Agriculture
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Faculty of Physical Education and Sports.

Rooms can be reserved through the Department of International Relations and include free internet access
cable TV, and comfortable furnishings.
The cost is approximately 245 lei per month (70-80 Euros) plus utilities.
Students also have the option of renting flats near the city center, with prices around 200 EUR per person for a furnished flat.
